Indian Rail

Indian Rail is working under Railway Board. In all, there are seven members in the Railway Board, who are collectively responsible to Railway operations. Indian Rail has been divided into 16 zones. Each zone has its certain number of sub-divisions. There is a divisional headquarters for each zone. There a General manger is deputed to supervise and carrying out the railway works properly. The General Manager reports directly to the Railway Board.
